Emma Andrews, LL.B.
Emma is fluent in Spanish and English. She
obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of
Victoria, B.C., and studied civil law at the Autonomous National
University of Honduras. She was called to the Bar of British
Columbia in 2000.
Emma has successfully appealed cases in the
Federal Court of Canada. One of her successful appeals was
selected to be aired on the Fifth Estate, an award winning
CBC investigative television program.
She is participating in a special project
providing assistance to international students at Capilano
College. In addition, Emma was named by the Dominion Institute
as a participant in Passages to Canada, the Citizenship and
Immigration feature of the Memory Project.
The Vancouver Sun newspaper selected Emma
as one of the six most successful immigrants in British Columbia.
